Inclusive education and ICTs: future teachers attitudes analysis

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the perceptions of prospective Childhood and Primary Education teachers to the use of ICT for the development of inclusive practices. In the study, it has involved 231 students from grade school and Primary Education of the Catholic University of Murcia, carrying out data collection through an "ad hoc" questionnaire through the survey technique. The results show favorable perceptions of future teachers to the educational possibilities of this type of educational resources in the teaching-learning process of students with special educational needs, their contribution to the process of professional development, including of students through such means and analysis based on the use of ICT for responding to diversity teaching function. In addition, it checks the existence of relationship between the various factors of the scale and between those items that are considered more significant, as can be the contribution of ICT to the family-school, improving coordination active participation of students in the educational process, flexible teaching-learning process and contribute to the professional development of teachers.
