Development of an AI Camera Watchdog System for Enhanced Poultry Farm Security

Abstract

For sustainable food supply, our chicken poultry business is vital. Development of an autonomous chicken feeding machine can boost poultry business growth. In the current arrangement, chickens need humans to feed them. The proposed technology can replace chicken feeders, solving labour issues and introducing a semi-automated procedure to the poultry business. The poultry farm and agriculture sector can use the proposed system. In chicken farms, it feeds food in containers and maintains temperature with water sprinklers. Temperature, humidity, ultrasonic intrusion detection, gas sensor, and RTC were employed. We use an IOT module to customize feeding and watering times. This system controls temperature, humidity, and camera-based intruder detection without human interaction. It turns devices on based on thresholds. This system design automates poultry, minimizes labour, and boosts healthy chicken output. Each sensor parameter will appear on LCD and IOT database.
