Within the area of digital image processing, image enhancement is an essential component in a wide variety of applications. Some of these applications include astronomy, satellite image processing, geographical imaging, and consumer electronics. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate an implementation of histogram specification-controlled histogram equalization techniques. These approaches are aimed to improve image quality while maintaining brightness and enhancing contrast through dynamic stretching. In comparison to the many other schemes and algorithms that have been developed by researchers working in the subject of picture enhancement, the method that has been proposed provides a superior quantitative and qualitative approach.
