Abstract

The proposal presented on designing courses for graduate programs has an axis of strong research training and every component of this proposal has been designed considering the strategy of Research-Based Learning (ABI), so that at the end of the student a graduate program, it possesses the skills to investigate and be able to solve new situations in their area of expertise and beyond. The model is presented to incorporate research and pedagogical practice, is unique in the sense that you learn to investigate while attending courses and research related to real, unlike the traditional approach where activities include a course are made about research methodologies and only at the end of mastery reused those skills related to research. This proposal includes a series of steps to include ABI in the academic design of a graduate program and emerges as a pilot between some universities in Ecuador imbricar interested in the process of research in the design of their masters.
